CHILDREN in the Foundation stage at Beech Grove Primary School in Wellington had a fun time exploring on the beach at Weston-super-Mare and learning about sea creatures in the Seaquarium.

They learnt that a starfish eats by removing its own stomach and can grow its arms back if they come off. The children made sandcastles, sand angels and were turned into sand mermaids on the beach.
