TWENTY-ONE students from Court Fields School in Wellington have received achievement prizes, presented to them by local councillor William Brown.

The 2016 Learning Support Faculty Awards was held in the newly refurbished Conference Suite at the school.

The annual event recognisesthe achievements of students who are supported in their learning in a variety of subject areas according to personal needs.

Mr Brown, a former Court Fields student who went on to read History at the University of Aberystwyth, presented the awards and in an inspirational talk told students that nothing in life should be a barrier to them achieving their goals.
