AN open garden is being held at Burges Meadow, Maundown, Wiveliscombe, on Bank Holiday Monday, May 28.

The two-acre garden has more than 100 varieties of interesting and unusual trees, shrubs and borders, plus stream, waterfalls and ponds, and large glasshouse.

The event, which also includes music by Wiveliscombe Community Choir, is in aid of ssafa, the armed forces charity. Entry is £3, children free. Dogs not allowed.
