SCHOOLS have sent a warning to parents after a man approached an 11-year-old boy in Uffculme last week.

The boy refused to engage with the man and ran straight home to his parents in the incident in Fore Street after school on Monday at 3.45pm.

Devon & Cornwall Police are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward who may have seen the incident or can help identify the man involved.

The man is described as being white, in his twenties or thirties, wearing a black coat and black baggy jeans. He was about 5ft 8in tall.
