PENSIONER Janice King, wife of Oake Manor Golf Club managing director Michael King, is getting on her bike to raise money for a good cause.
Janice, 73, set off on her 1,050-mile cycle ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats on Sunday in aid of the Peter Alliss Masters Powered Wheelchair Crusade.
Janice, who is scheduled to pass through Wellington today (Wednesday), has already raised more than £6,000 for the charity.

The charity raises funds to buy powered wheelchairs and other mobility aids for children and young adults, and all money raised through Oake Manor will be used to help children locally.
Janice, who hopes to finish her ride in John O’Groats on Saturday, July 30, is funding the trip herself, so all donations will go to the charity.
