THE January winner of Pet of the Month, run by Co-op Funeralcare and the WWN, is Buster because ‘he brings joy to those that need it’.

Buster was nominated by Mark Cole, of Parker Close, Wellington.

Mr Cole says Buster helps him with his depression and is there for him all the time. He is also very well trained.

“He won’t even cross the street or go on the road unless told,” said Mr Cole.

“Buster is very friendly with all dogs and people – and is always happy to say hello to strangers.”
