THE August winner of Pet of the Month, run by Co-op Funeralcare and the WWN, is Phoebe, an eight-month-old French Bulldog.

Phoebe was nominated by youngsters Mia and Faith Rees, of Bramley Close, Wellington.

Mia, eight, and Faith, four, said: “Phoebe follows us everywhere, she loves cuddles and play, she’s our best friend.”

Phoebe won a goody bag including a strong limited edition ‘Proud to be Wellington Pet of the Month’ cotton eco-shopping bag, certificate and rosette.
