THE December winner of Pet of the Month, run by Co-op Funeralcare and the WWN, is Hugo, a five-year-old Samoyed.

Hugo was nominated by Anna Gasson, of Sylvan Road, Wellington.

Anna says: “Hugo is great with children and has won medals in sled dog competitions in the woods which he enjoys by barking a lot!”

Hugo won a goody bag including a strong limited edition ‘Proud to be Wellington Pet of the Month’ cotton eco-shopping bag, certificate and rosette.
