NYNEHEAD Court’s grounds were filled with animals of all kinds on Sunday as visitors flocked to the home’s pet show.

The event coincided with National Pet Month, which runs until May 2, and included classes such as best condition, most like its owner, and most unusual pet; an agility course, refreshments and a raffle. The event raised £130.

Nynehead Court manager Angela Watkins said: “We were delighted to see so many different animals in our grounds, and were very lucky that the weather was kind to us.

“We would like to thank the organisations who donated prizes, including Golden Hill Pet Supplies, Paws ‘N’ Claws Pet Shop, and Willowbrook Nursery and Garden Centre; and Ralph James, who lent us the agility course.

“We are also very grateful to Lynn Creech and Holly Broom for judging the classes.”
