POLICE are continuing to appeal for witnesses about a vicious attack on a pony at a farm at Langford Budville last month.

The pony, which had to be put down, was attacked by dogs on September 7, between 5.30pm and 8pm.

She was covered in bites and three of her legs were broken/bitten through. The incident would appear to be linked to the poaching of sheep, or illegal hunting of deer, or possibly providing horse meat – the pony was 14.2 and quite chunky.
