POLICE are appealing for information about an antique rifle that was lost at the weekend in Rockwell Green.

The owner left it behind on the corner of Orchard Close when he was picked up to go to a gun fair in Birmingham on Sunday at about 5.30am. The rifle, which is about 3ft 6in long and was in a leather sheath, dates from the 1800s and is inactive.
