PROCEEDINGS are under way against a Wellington pub landlord, and an off license, after they were caught out in a police crack-down at the weekend.

Now, police in the town have warned of more 'sting' operations to come as they redouble their efforts to uphold the law against underage drinking.

Plain clothes officers and two female volunteers aged 16 carried out an under-cover test purchase operation in the town on Saturday evening in concert with officers from Trading Standards.
