Wellington Town Council was delighted to learn that a previous hirer of the shop has opened their own permanent premises in North Street. Town Mayor Cllr Janet Lloyd and Deputy Mayor Cllr Mark Lithgow visited Nook & Cranny in North Street recently to celebrate its opening.
Janet said: ‘It’s wonderful to see a new business opening up in the town centre. One of the key aims of The Pop-Up shop is to enable start-up businesses to have a trial at running a retail outlet prior to making a long-term commitment.”
