Popham Court in Wellington has a new manager. Somerset Care has appointed Kim Strong, who has a wealth of experience of the care sector.

She has most recently worked in a support living setting in Exeter, and previously in both community care and in a dementia nursing home.

Popham Court provides care and support in two buildings on one site, specialising in nursing and residential care.

Kim said: “Since moving to the South-West14 years ago, I have been working in the care sector, gaining experience with a variety of client groups.

“They include children and adults from various backgrounds and with a host of conditions, some very complex.

“I have enjoyed providing services to people in the community and living independently, and I’m looking forward to bringing my experience into Popham Court and supporting the people here.”
