POPULAR Wellington GP, Gordon Scott, pictured, is retiring as Senior Partner at Luson Surgery after 31 years in the town.

Dr Scott, 60, also doctor to Wellington School and the factory doctor at Relyon for many years, retires in November.

Speaking exclusively to the WWN, he said he would miss most his patients, and the consultations which, he said, were the most enjoyable part of a GP's work.
