STAFF at Court Fields Community Pre-School? are celebrating a first class OFSTED report.

The education watchdog has rated the pre-school ‘Outstanding’ in all areas. Manager Sheryl Higgs said: “This is fantastic achievement following all the hard work and changes since September 2016.”

The inspector said the children make excellent progress and that they are keen learners who eagerly engage in excellent challenging and stimulating activities.

Children are highly confident with excellent self-esteem, they are extremely emotionally secure and their behaviour is very good.

Staff communicate with children extremely well. Children gain excellent skills to prepare them very well for the next stage in their learning, including going to school.

The committee and manager support staff extremely well and have excellent understanding, Knowledge and monitoring systems are in place.

Staff have excellent relationships with parents and involve them in children’s learning from the start.
