RGB Building Supplies is giving charities, groups and schools in the Wiveliscombe area one final chance to receive £1,000 of building materials before its Well Built Community Fund is re-launched in April with a new look.

Over the past two years the builder’s merchant has given £10,000 of products to a wide range of organisations in the region as part of the Community Fund. Now it is inviting groups that need help to complete an outdoor project to come forward and explain how £1,000 of materials would help.

Perhaps a care home would like to create a garden for its residents, a community group is looking to refurbish a local green space or a school is hoping to build an eco-garden – whatever the reason, RGB would like to hear about it.

Product and marketing manager Keith Harris said: “Everyone at RGB is extremely proud to have been able to support the amount of groups we have with our Well Built Community Fund. It has been extremely popular and has not been easy for us to decide who should receive the materials. This is the final giveaway for the current campaign but the Community Fund will be back with a fresh new approach in a couple of months.”

Groups, charities and schools can nominate themselves by contacting RGB and explaining what outdoor project they need building materials for and how the support will be of benefit to them. One group will then be chosen from all the nominations to receive £1,000 of materials.

Nominations can be made by emailing [email protected] or by sending a letter to RGB Community Fund, c/o PMW Communications, PO Box 167, Bideford, Devon, EX39 9DU. The closing date for nominations is Monday, March 7.
