IT’S no secret the construction industry is facing a skills shortage, so to help young trade apprentices, RGB Building Supplies is offering £250 to spend at one of its branches to one lucky recipient.

The voucher will enable apprentices to build their first kit by purchasing essential tools and accessories from their local RGB branch and receive expert advice about the best supplies to include.

Ed Hegarty, branch manager at RGB Wellington, said: “We fully believe that learning a trade is a fantastic way for young people to develop a successful career.

“There is always going to be a need for builders, plumbers, roofers, carpenters and electricians, and this competition is a way for us to support the next generation of tradesmen and women who are coming into the construction industry. Good luck to all those who enter.”

Apprentices simply need to comment on RGB’s Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn competition post telling them the trade they are learning.

One winner will then be chosen at random to receive the £250 voucher to use at their local branch. The competition will run until Monday, November 5.
