CHILDREN from Rockwell Green Primary School have been learning all about willow on a trip to the Willows and Wetlands Centre in Stoke St Gregory.

Pupils in Squirrel class had a tour around the centre learning about how willow is grown, the processes it goes through and its uses.
They watched the weavers at work making items including a children’s chair, Christmas star and a coffin. The children also had the opportunity to make willow stars which they could take home.
