PUPILS at Wellesley Park Primary School in Wellington dressed in the colours of the French flag when the school held its annual ‘French Day’.

All the children had a fun-filled and informative day with a wide variety of activities such as food tasting, artwork, music and model making.

Mr Piper from Court Fields School in the town visited in the afternoon together with a team of Wellesley Park’s ex-pupils.

The visitors were able to talk about Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) beyond primary education.

Wellesley Park MFL co-ordinator Miss Anderson said she would

like to thank Mr Piper for attending, all the teachers for their

hard work and preparation, and all the parents for supporting the event.
