THE identity of a man's body found on the railway line at Crosslands, Wellington on Monday has been identified as Dr Angus Nairne Gilmour-White.

Christmas at the Wellesley returns with festive talent showcaseAn inquest into the death of Dr Gilmour-White, of 65, Tone Hill, Wellington, was opened and adjourned by West Somerset coroner Michael Rose yesterday.
Emergency services were called after track maintenance staff found the body at around 8.45pm.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said Dr Gilmour-White's body was found by Network Rail maintenance staff.
Services on the line were suspended while the incident was dealt with, causing disruption between Exeter St David's and Taunton.
The railway line was reopened at 10.35pm.
