RAM RAIDERS crashed a 4x4 through the front of a petrol station in Longforth Road in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday.

The red Landrover burst through the plate glass window of the Esso garage at about 2.45am.

The raiders escaped in another 4x4.

Police chased the getaway vehicle, but there have so far been no arrests.

Officers are appealing for witnesses. Ring Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
