Christmas at the Wellesley returns with festive talent showcaseThe Government has constantly pushed the need for social distancing for nearly three months and the message appears on commercial television every 15 minutes. Local radio has nothing else to go on about and as a consequence most people are fed up with having the message forced on them.
Somerset West and Taunton Council is wasting taxpayers’ money by installing these signs as they are not needed. The money spent on these signs, which no doubt are across all parts of the district, should have been spent on something more useful. The labour and transport costs for installing them could also have been better employed.
Bearing in mind the Government is under pressure to relax social distancing to get the economy back to work, these signs will soon be of little value.
Perhaps our local district councillors could enlighten the public on the amount of money spent on these signs.
