THE Welliestock Music Festival takes place at Wellesley Park School in Wellington on Saturday.

The event has again attracted some of the best bands and artists – both from the

South-West and locally.

Its aim is to focus on ‘exciting music, be it original or cover bands,’ and to organise an exciting event which is one of the highlights of the West’s music calendar.

Event safety officer Barry James said: “Once again, we are putting on an event that is focused on families coming together to enjoy themselves and listen to a diverse range of music, as well as enjoying what’s on offer at stalls and other attractions.”

Festival-goers will be banned from parking in Homefield leading to the festival site and the only vehicles allowed on site will be traders, performers, ‘Show and Shine’ and emergency vehicles if required.

Musical entertainment will start early in the afternoon and stop at 11pm.

All stewards will be trained to ensure the process of getting people to leave the site will be managed to be as efficient and as quiet as possible.
