CHILDREN and adults from Langford Budville Primary School walked to the village churchyard for a Remembrance assembly.

Older children read their own poems about remembrance and laid a special wreath of poppies on the memorial stone. The youngest children left a large poppy they had made together.

After two minutes’ silence and prayers they went into the church to look at the memorial plaque listing the names of local people who gave their lives in the two world wars.
