Drivers in and around Somerset West and Taunton will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing a holdup of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

A30, from 8pm January 2 to 5am December 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 20 to 31 mobile lane closures for drainage works.

And a further four closures will begin over the next two weeks:

M5, from 8pm February 8 to 6am February 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 26 to 27, lane closure for drainage works.

M5, from 8pm February 12 to 6am February 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 26 to 27, lane closure for drainage works.
