Caring Kayley Readings is hoping to raise cash to help people in Africa at a table top sale at the Rule 7 bar and bistro in High Street, Wellington.

Kayley, who lives in Burgage, recently appealed in the WWN for items to sell and the donations have flooded in for the table top sale on Sunday, March 15, from noon.

The event will also feature a raffle for food hampers from Wellington businesses including Tim Potter, Mary Jenkins and Odette’s, free chilli con carne and silly games.

Kayley is heading off to Kenya at Easter to help villagers continue building work on a community centre. She is joining a group of Young Life International volunteers for the journey to Bungu, Kilifi, near Mombasa, where she will help install a water harvesting system to collect and store water.

Anyone who would like a table to sell unwanted items themselves or who would like to make donations should phone Kayley on 07595 630805.
