FATHER Christmas will arrive at The Square in Wiveliscombe on Wednesday, December 2, soon after 5.30pm.

He will meet pupils from Wiveliscombe Primary School who have won a design competition and together they will switch on the town’s Christmas lights. Children will have a chance to meet Santa in his igloo in The Square and receive a present from him.

Food and drink, including roast chestnuts, will be available in The Square, and the town band will play seasonal music.
