THE Year 9 and 10 boys’ rugby teams from Kingsmead School, Wiveliscombe, travelled to Tor Rugby Club in Glastonbury to play in the Somerset schools rugby county finals.

First up were the Year 9 team who played against Haygrove School from Bridgwater. The game ended 10-10, so the teams became joint county champions 2016.

Then came the turn of the Year 10 boys who played their final against Crispin School from Street. The boys stayed ahead for a large part of the game but in a nail-biting finish Crispin took the lead and the game ended Crispin 26-Kingsmead 22.
