WELLINGTON School said goodbye to students and staff leaving the school at a Commemoration Day service.

The events, on a gloriously sunny day, provided a fitting end to a splendid year and included a display by the Corps of Drums.

Parents enjoyed the annual prize-giving ceremony and speeches by headmaster Henry Price, head boy Tim Kilbey and head girl Georgie Simms, and chair of governors Anna Govey.

A spokesperson for the school said: “We also said a fond farewell to Mr Price who has guided and led the school with integrity, humour and kindness for the past five years. Henry, we will miss you!”
