THE first Wacky Wednesday event for children up to the age of 11 was Summer Holiday at Wellington Park.

It is one of five such events being held in Wellington, the next being the three-day Big Tent at Wellesley Park Primary School, which started yesterday (Tuesday).

All Around the World is at the Cades Farm play area on Wednesday, August 22, (10.30am-noon) and End of Summer is at Wellington Park on Wednesday, August 29, (same time).

Children must be accompanied by an adult and entry is £1 a child. Refreshments are available.
