THE annual Knitted Sheep Trail will be launched when Wellington’s Christmas lights are switched on on Saturday.
The trail, which sees families and children spot the knitted sheep in local shops, is intended to highlight the real meaning of Christmas.
Entry forms will be available from the WWN’s office in High Street, the town library and some of the shops.
The trail will close on December 22 when the sheep are collected by their Wellington Churches Together shepherds. Completed forms should be returned to the WWN or the library.
The winners with most correctly named sheep will receive a prize at the Christingle service at the parish church on Christmas Eve at 4.30pm.
