SHEPPY’S, based on the A38 between Wellington and Taunton, has achieved success in the Great Taste Awards 2017.

Classic (Somerset) Draught and Oak Matured Vintage were both awarded two stars and Sheppy’s limited edition Iwood won one star.

The judges, referring to Classic (Somerset) Draught, said: “Beautifully balanced. This shouts Somerset Cider with classic farmhouse flavours.”

Oak Matured Vintage was: “Clean and inviting. Quite a powerful number – well balanced with a firm finish.”

And Iwood was: “A gorgeous golden colour. Complex on the nose with promising rich flavours. Rounded and like biting into a juicy apple.”
