WELL-KNOWN Wellington photographer, electrician, charity worker and volunteer Terry Milton has died suddenly at the age of 74.

Terry, who lived in Parker Close, suffered a massive stroke on Friday and passed away at Musgrove Park Hospital late on Sunday afternoon.

Terry was associated with a number of organisations in the town, including the rugby club, Wellington in Bloom, Millway Evangelical Church, The Basins Group and Conservative Club. He was also the first ever chairman of Friends of Wellington Park and a former town councillor.

Richard Fox, one of his best friends, said yesterday: “He was absolutely remarkable, a brilliant leader, inspirational, a hard worker – and kind.”
