SAMPFORD Blues were beaten 3-0 at home by Wembdon Saints in Division Two of the Taunton Volkswagen Saturday League.

The Blues, who begin the defence of the Somerset Intermediate Cup this weekend (Sept 17), started the season as title favourites.
