PEOPLE in Wellington are being asked to shop with independent businesses in the town on Small Business Saturday this

weekend.

The Emporium Somerset, named in Small Business Saturday’s top 100 small businesses for the UK, is urging people to spend their money in the area on December 3.

Co-owner Cato Cooper said: “We were absolutely thrilled to make the list but it’s not just about us, it’s about every small business in the town and area and getting behind them.”

Last year saw £623m spent with small businesses across the UK on Small Business Saturday– this year is the fourth year of the campaign.
