THE SheppyFest Cider and Music Festival at Sheppy’s, Bradford-on-Tone, proved a big success despite rain which set in during the afternoon.
About 2,500 tickets were sold for this first ever six-band event which was held at the cider farm on Saturday.
Marquees provided cover for festival-goers but many braved the wet weather to sing and dance out the night.
The event was so successful that another is planned for the same weekend next year – provisionally September 2.
Main festival organiser Sara-Beth Rowland said: “Despite the weather everyone had a great time. They were determined to enjoy themselves – and they did.”
