SAUSAGES produced by Wellington butcher Tim Potter have struck gold at a national event.

Two types of pork sausage and a hog roast pork sausage won gold medals at the National Federation of Meat and Food Traders held at the NEC, near Birmingham.

The Fore Street shop also collected golds for its steak pasty, apple pasty and home-cured bacon.

Nearly 400 products were on show from the nation’s best butchers.
