A Wellington School pupil has been accepted to the Royal Marines.

Sixth-former Ben Alford has completed the arduous and world-renowned Royal Marines selection process. This included interviews, assessments and a gruelling four-day physical test.

After taking his A–level exams, he will commence his 37-week training at Lympstone.
