THE area manager for Slimming World in Wellington has celebrated her groups’ successes with television chat show host and comedian Alan Carr.

Dawn Booth was delighted to meet the star of Channel 4 show Chatty Man at the annual Slimming World Awards which he co-hosted at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham.

The organisation’s founder and chairman, Margaret Miles-Bramwell, was the other host. She opened her first group in 1969 and over the last 50 years Slimming World has supported almost one million slimmers.
