RESIDENTS and friends at Dukes Court, the McCarthy and Stone retirement property in Bulford, Wellington, have been raising money in aid of the Love Musgrove MRI scanner appeal.

They held a strawberry cream tea in July and afterwards gave everyone who attended a tube of Smarties to be filled with coins in aid of the appeal once the sweets were eaten.

They also sold knitting patterns and hand-made Christmas cards, and raised a total of £320, which has been sent to the appeal fund.
