STEAM lovers are in for a treat at Coldharbour Mill in Uffculme on Bank Holiday Monday (August 27).

The magnificent Lancashire Boiler, original mill engine and Beam Engine will be in full steam, as well as other engines, waterwheel and spinning and weaving machines which have been at the mill from Victorian times.

All the family can enjoy demonstrations, tours and have-a-go sessions in which they can try traditional spinning and weaving techniques. Youngsters can enjoy Victorian Dressing up, sheep trail and the picnic and play area. The event runs from 10.30am-4pm.

Coldharbour Mill is on the banks of the River Culm. It is one of the last surviving woollen mills in the country and of national importance.
