STUDENTS in Year 9 at Court Fields School in Wellington have been learning about their post-16 options.

Somerset College, Bridgwater College and Richard Huish College gave short presentations and Court Fields careers co-ordinator Paul Cowling delivered a session on apprenticeships.

Students had the chance to ask questions and plenty of free items were given out.

Mr Cowling said: “I was very pleased that three local colleges were able to attend this event so that students can see the range of opportunities that are available to them post-16.”
