PUPILS at Sampford Arundel School have celebrated their annual sports day on one of the few sunny evenings of the summer.

Children competed in running, skipping and obstacle races culminating in the traditional school Marathon.

Parents and children enjoyed a barbeque and refreshments afterwards organised by the Friends of the school.
