LONG-DISTANCE walker Nancy Powell-Brace will be given a fanfare welcome at St John’s Church, Wellington, on Sunday as she nears the end of her marathon walk.

Nancy is on the final leg of her trek from Cleopatra’s Needle in London to Wellington Monument.

She is raising cash for the National Trust which owns the monument and has suggested the money is spent on buying items to enhance the area around it.

Supporters of Nancy are invited to be at the church at 11a.m. and to join her for the final leg of her walk to the monument.
