TWO groups in the Wellington area have raised money for SURE, which helps equip the Beacon Centre cancer unit at Musgrove Park Hospital in Taunton.

The John Walker Band’s Spirit of Christmas concert at St John’s Church in Wellington raised £114.13 through a bucket collection.

The Oake Carole singers coined in £109.55 by singing carols around the village.
