THREE young swimmers from Wellington have coined in the cash for Clic Sergeant for their friend, six-year-old Edward Edis, who was diagnosed with leukaemia just over a year ago.

Sisters Gracie and Harriet Joseph-Sanders, aged ten and nine, and friend Gemma Bussell, ten, did a one-mile, 65-length swim at Wellington School.

The Wellington Prep School pupils raised £600 in sponsorship in the swim last Wednesday.

Rachel Debenham, Gracie and Harriet’s mum, said: “I’m very proud of them, it was very hard work.”
