TAUNTON Combined Court at Shire Hall is holding a public open day next month with something for everyone, from adults to children.

Visitors will have the chance to talk to Criminal Judges and Family Judges in question and answer sessions, see Criminal and Family Courts in action in mock hearings at 11am and 2pm, learn about the history of the building and see the Courthouse and the Cells in a tour of the building.

Visitors will also get to meet other organisations and agencies which work with the Courts, such as the Police, Adoption and Fostering services, Witness Services, CAFCASS (Children and Family Court Advisory Service) and many more.
