Bargain hunters cram into former WH Smith store with days left before closure
Wellington fire crews only 30 minutes into New Year before first emergencyDr Tall is leading a project to digitise and catalogue more than 60,000 negatives that were produced by Mr Kenyon over several decades from the middle of the 20th Century onwards.
The collection includes local scenes as well as commercial commissioned work. Mr Kenyon achieved international recognition from his profession and was elected Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society.
However, not much is known about Mr Kenyon himself, or of his business, so contributions from the audience on these topics will be appreciated.
The talk, on Thursday, September 22, at 7.30pm, is at Wellington Prep School Hall, South Street, in aid of Wellington Local History & Museum Society. Entry is £3 – £2 for Society Members.
