Hard-working comedian Dane Baptiste, who won Best Newcomer at the 2014 Edinburgh Comedy Awards, is set to perform at Wellington Comedy Club.

He has since gone on to make regular television appearances including Mock the Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats and Live at the Apollo, to name but a few. He has also written a comedy series for the BBC called Sunny D.

The monthly comedy club presents at least two comedians and the evening is compered by an old Wellingtonian, Luke Honnoraty, who now lives in North Devon.

Tickets for the show on Thursday, January 24, are priced £10 and available from the Beambridge or from Eventbrite ticket platform with doors open at 8pm.
